The Big Hygiene Book was commissioned by the NHS and Salford City Council in order to highlight the importance of personal hygiene and food safety to primary school children. The Project was nominated for an award in the NHS excellence in health and safety awards by The director of the NHS Rose Wood. The book is now taught in classrooms across the country as part of the national curriculum.
